Lightbulb Martin D-45 Acoustic Guitar Impulse Responses

The Holy Grail of the Acoustic Guitars!

We sampled this wonderful sounding Martin D-45 acoustic guitar with 3 different Mics (U47, U87 & 414) using V676a Mic Pres, Pulteq EQ, and LA2A!

These might be the best sounding acoustic guitar IR’s we have ever made to date!

Check out the demos!

JUST THE GUITAR PICK UP (D.I. Piezo) :

SAME GUITAR WITH OUR Martin D-45 IMPULSE RESPONSE ADDED TO THE PICK UP

You get 14 IR’s of the D-45 (Mono/Stereo & 3 Mics Together)

Available now at; www.gumroad.com/pasttofuturereverbs

The files with the number „2“ are for thin-sounding piezo recordings and they have more bass response.

We are proud to bring you sounds you can’t find anywhere else!

Could use some more before/after audio demos, especially using something different than the guitar it was recorded with which no one else will have. That seems like the best way to judge how useful these IRs are.

If someone has a Martin acoustic, they probably have the means to record it also.

First record your guitar with its Piezo pick up (D.I.) after that you open a Convolution reverb plug in and put the martin d45 impulse responses over it.
It will sound like it was recorded with a Martin D45 and a Neumann mic

Check out the demo 2 it is the D.I. Sound of the guitar the other 3 demos are with the impulse responses.
You can hear a big difference.
We are recording the body and the space between the guitar and mic which you can add later.

I hope this helps..

It was already recorded with a 150$ Chinese guitar with its pick up
Martin D-45 doesn't have a pick up

It makes a wonderful sound out of a cheap sounding Piezo pick up.

It is a kind of magic

When one click on it, there is only the first one there. No list.
At least not that we can see, but i think when u play the first song finished the other start, there is a difference in sound so i assume thats the chinese guitar.
But there is no list to click on certain songs, just that one song.

Ok, well I have baritone uke and acoustic guitar with piezo pickups and also use transducer pickups so it's probably worth a shot.

The example is named "Martin D45 DI" which implies... it's a Martin D45, and there's nothing in the description regarding a different guitar being used so the most obvious assumption is the same guitar the impulses are from is being used.

I think the main point is that new and "magic" things aren't generally understood so more explanation and examples would help.

Btw, do we contact you via the Paypal email for the Helix impulses? There's no email on the Gumroad page, and the ones received are from do not reply addresses.

The idea is behind these IR's are to make your
Existing guitar sound like a premium acoustic
Recorded in a great room with great mics only
By using the Piezo Di sound of it..

Downloaded already so just looking for the additional Helix files. I can PM the email I Paypalled from if that helps?

So far the technique I've found that makes the most drastic difference in thin transducer pickup recordings is using Zynaptic Unfilter. I haven't tested that with piezo.

I find transducer pickups sound far more natural than piezo which have a vary distinctive sound. The biggest weakness with both seems to be the balance between strings.
