These plugins are so slept on it’s ridiculous.

Just do a simple blind test with your favourite pultec plugin guys, price/cpu/sound/gui/support ratio is undefeated.

Love this but really could do with the AAX versions working with the ICON D-Command (per the AAX spec). Just needs a page table mapping in from the free app from AVID (for devs) and you'll have this EQ up and running with the amazing (and still best) Pro Tools controller!

Hope you can look at that for a future update, it's 10 minutes work and really pays off as a lot of ICON users (and there's many of them - still) won't use EQs unless they work with the ICON system. FTR all waves and plug-in alliance eqs and comps work with ICON in AAX, as do plenty of others (Kush, Fuse etc). Don't leave us out in the cold with the best Pultec emu!

You could do the same with your Need EQ strip and make it way more useful for us 'hands on' guys!

*just take a look at the old 'free' avid pultec emus and how they are mapped and copy that, they work perfectly (or waves version)

Hi, thanks for the suggestions.

We will try and we will see what we can do about it.

What is the V-Bump doing? It's not in the manual.
Also could you elaborate more on what the Analog switch is adding too.

It really sounds great, although I do wish you'd flatten out the graphics more...less of the mixing on a ball look. Nice work!
thx

Hi
Thank you forthe support.

Analog switch adds saturated analog sine (57 Hz) & noise. Some people like it like original machine.

Yeah V-bump switch is in the manual, it's on 14th page. Original machine has a volume bump on the output, about 1 dB. In first Rule Tec version, this switch was't on the GUI. Some people wanted this switch for disabling this 1 dB volume change. So when you set it to off, output won't be bumped 1dB. But by default, the volume bump is on.

About the GUI, do you think Rule tecs has "on a ball look"? If you say that for Need 31102, maybe it is more likely about the buttons on the left side and that can add some kind of "fish eye look". But for Rule Tecs, I think most of the people like the GUI, because the 3D perspective look is balanced well. There are lot's of different thoughts about the GUI design, some people like it flat, some like it vectoral, sime like 3D perspective look... Actually it's hard to find optimum spot for it

Kind regards...

I didn't see the V-bump on the labeled graphic layout in the manual, that's why I missed it.
Good to know.
I think the GUI curve is a exaggerated a bit much but it doesn't make me nauseous to look at like the Need does.
