Awesome channel strip. This is the best Neve emulation out there, even better from the well known 1073 models.
Now also since the phase issues have been fixed, now this is a game changer tool for me. Guitars, vocals, drums, bass... everything has a breath in the mix now.

Hi
Thank you for the suggestion. We can't promise to this but we will try and will see what can be done.

This plugin is a real gem.

The EQ+PREAMP combo is neat. Great modeling.

I'd love to see a Neve 1081 from you guys. I'm sure you'll nail it.

PS : The tooltips are most welcome and a useful idea.

A 31102 is the broadcast version of the 1084 (minus a transformer that is found in the console rather than the module, if memory serves). Both are considered by many as the top of the heap for Neve modules. A 1081, while absolutely wonderful, might be considered as a step backwards.
Not attempting to throw shade here. Just passing on some reasonably common thinking as per the 31102/1084.

As always, YMMV.

Really ? Oh...

I've always liked the 1081 from UA a lot more than their own 31102.

Totally agree. I never got on with UA's 31102. I absolutely adore their 1081 however.

I was speaking of the physical modules, not any software version. Assuming you felt the 31102 plugin under discussion was the best version, a 1081 plugin built on the same code might be considered a step back by some.

As I said, YMMV.

Thanks for the good thoughts, we really appreciate that.

What do you think about the next emulation should be? Which analog emulation should be the next?

I'm still waiting for someone to do a really good native Api that covers both channel and buss.

Api 550b/5500
Api 527 compressor/limiter
Api 2500 buss compressor

This right here. Not a good one out except maybe Volko eq set but it does not model saturation. Api eq and compressor plug in form I'll be a happy camper

I downloaded a demo of this and couldn't hear the difference in oversampling... so I checked in plug in doctor and the aliasing on harmonics doesn't seem to be reduced as I switch to a higher setting?

Hi
Yeah of course oversampling works. But in order to get a stabile delay compensation (for fixing phase issues) we used minimum x4 oversampling ratio. Upper x4 oversampling ratio, the delay compensation value (in Need 31102, the delay time is 7 samples) is stable.

So actually, x2 equals x4 oversampling ratio. x4 equals x8 oversampling ratio. And x8 equals x16 oversampling ratio.

Since this oversampling ratio options have been already very high, it might seem like it doesn't affect. But as you can see the engine has already been anti-aliased and also you can see the difference in Plugin Doctor very slightly. Because the difference between x4 and x8 is very slight.

We also didn't put "oversampling off" option, because in this case the delay compensation would be changed and that could cause the phase issues. So we removed Off option.

Then the Result: the Oversampling is very high even on the lowest setting, Cpu performance is optimized and Delay compensation is stable

What also would be interesting, is a (CPU friendly) PREAMP plugin, that has all the famous preamps onboard.

Hi, thank you so much for the suggestions.

What about SSL or 1073? Can we add those models to the list too?

I'm just trying to learn your ideas about the famous models that have been modeled by lot's of companies. No need to model new one?

+1 for an API : 550A/B, or even better : API 5500 (if you're going for EQ)

Or a Chandler Germanium channel strip : Ge. Pre/DI + Ge. Comp. + Ge. Tone Control
