48K or 44.1K for YouTube Music Video?

Hi!

I'm working with a video artist on a professional music video for YouTube. I received both a 48K (MFiT) and 44.1K (Streaming) master from my mastering engineer.

Which file should I give the video artist? I heard all video editing software works with 48K but I also heard that YouTube transforms audio to 44.1K once videos are uploaded.

Which would you give the video artist in order to achieve the best sounding qualities once the video is on YouTube and avoid funny conversion, scarring, and other side effects?

Many thanks!

Not sure on the YouTube conversion, but whenever working with video, always send editors 48k files.
