Broadcast "air date" data?

Does anyone know if international cable and network broadcast "air date" data can be accessed in some way? Is there some site/resource that would show this?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jeff ,

although I'm sure you are aware of it , I have to mention :
the most important thing to receive international royalties is to make sure that your work was properly registered by your publisher ( or more likely its sub-publishers) with as many foreign PRO's as possible .

The (bitter) truth concerning "air date" in foreign territories is that if the particular Channel is not surveyed by tunesat or a similar company , the air date only can be gathered by simply going to the TV-Channel's website and look up the - hopefully available - TV-schedule .

So , if you don't know the channels name , or if you don't know the local title of the show ( maybe in France or Brazil or Japan ) , then your chances to gather valuable data decreases dramatically.

Another issue with this is the fact that nowadays those TV-schedules on the web are vanishing very quickly. A few years ago , when the websites were still using a kind of "old" html programming , it was possible to find valuable data that went back even 4 or 5 years . Nowadays you are lucky if you can find data that goes back 6 month .

Another way of getting some infos on air data might be to simply post the name of the particular show you are interested in and ask if someone from within a certain country ( France , Brazil , etc. ... ) can help out and do a quick (local) search concerning "air dates"; or look up a particular track title of yours in the local PRO's database ( .... not all PRO's offer the possibility to search their repertoire database to non-members ... ) to make sure that your track was registered by your publisher with this PRO .
Just an idea.

Good luck,

Gerd
