Going wireless on a vlogging setup

Hello!

So, I just upgraded my vlogging setup a bit.
My channel is at YouTube

As you can tell, most of the audio is pretty bad, and that's because I've been using the internal GoPro microphones to pick up speech.

It's going to improve now, that I just bought a RODE VideoMicro.

But, this thread is to ask a question about another mic I have.

I have an Edutige ETM-008 unidirectional lavalier, which is AMAZING, but I find myself not using it just because I don't want to deal with the cable.

So I've been looking at wireless solutions.

RODE has its own kit specific for this, the RODELink:
RODE Microphones - RODELink Filmmaker Kit

But, those two units are HUUUGE, and expensive.

Now, being a singing drummer, I happen to also have a SHURE wireless headset mic bundle. It's the PGXD4 receiver with the PGXD1 bodypack, and a WH20TQG mic.

What I'm thinking of doing, is using the SHURE bodypack and the receiver, with the edutige mic.
Now, the receiver is also big but the bodypack is decently small, and given that I already own the system, it'd be sweet if I manage to not spend a dollar and get my problem solved.

So what I'm thinking would be the first issue is, the connector.
The edutige mic has a 1/8" connection (image attached).
The SHURE bodypack has that 3-pin one (image attached).
Will some sort of adapter allow me to just connect the edutige lav to the transmitter, or will there be an issue with signal level, or some other consideration I'm not thinking of?

Thanks!
