Anyone Using The New Albion One Spitfire?

Hey guys,

I am using the newest Albion One Spitfire and notice that just 1 nki patch is sometimes taking 2 minutes to load up using 7200 RPM SATA drives.

Do I have to make the move to Solid State drives? Anybody else experiencing this?

I use a 7200 drive via firewire 800 and an Albion instrument takes about 5 secs to load (or so)

Mac or PC? If Mac consider running the Disk Utility app and checking the disk for permission issues, bad sectors etc.

It's PC. I'm pretty sure it's the Sample Lib itself. I have other Kontakt Libs on that SATA drive that load up in seconds.

Thanks Jeff,

You just saved me hundreds on SSD's. It loads up in one second now on my 7200 rpm SATA drive.
