Separate software to record output of DAW and OTB instruments?

I've had a rough time trying to record the output of my DAW along with inputs from OTB gear. I'm using the DAW as a mixer and instrument and want to record everything from another program. I tried to do it with Audio Hijack Pro, but was getting a loop or feedback effect. By the way, I'm using an aggregate device (audio interface + MIDI interface). I just want the total output of everything recorded on another app in 24 bit while using the DAW and OTB instruments in real-time. I've had quite a challenge trying to do this. Is there a more reliable, easy to use, and low cost application that can do this? Thanks.
