Anybody using Steven Slate Drum Sampler?

I am investigating a problem I'm having with SSD 4. The issue is that when I render the plugin to audio the timing is not sample accurate. Especially when rendering at higher ASIO buffer settings (like 1024 samples) the results become unacceptably badly timed. This is very strange for a drum plugin, in my opinion.

At first I thought the problem was with my DAW (Reaper) but I am starting to suspect the problem is with SSD itself.
Does anybody have experience with this, maybe in another DAW?

The way I tested this was to create a MIDI part with just one note every beat, exactly quantized. I assigned this to SSD, rendered the result, zoomed in to sample level and looked at the results. Not sample accurate in a long stretch!
It looks like all MIDI is played at the beginning of the buffer. Notes come progressively early until they are about one buffer early. Then they jump back to being exactly on the beat and the cycle repeats.
With a buffer size of 1024 at 44.1Khz this means notes can be anywhere from 0 to 23 milliseconds early! That's pretty useless.
