Duende AAX vs Slate VMR

Two new AAX bundles available recently. Comparisons, opinions?

My 2c - Duende a bit smoother, VMR a bit edgier. But very close (mainly talking about the channel EQ, as it's the only common module).

You should demo them and decide. I'm not impressed with either one.

So basically, if you're not "getting any" then you should buy both. If you are, you will probably forget about all this vs thing anyways...

Duende Plug-ins are based on C200 Digital console , VMR is based on analog gear.

Pali: After following the conversation, I'm betting that jamwerks is referring to SEX as the thing you are not really getting if you pay for it, but I sincerely do applaud your diligence.

As an aside:
Although I'm aware this is unlikely, I still wish this site would develop a way to verify that your not a "crackhead". (my new term I lovingly call thieves).

Crackheads are on another forums. I think its so natural for them to do cracks that its unreal to see a whole forum full of people that actually buy their plugins.

Back on topic the new Softube model for Console 1 is a SSL 9000 as the Duende, anybody tried Softubes one?

Just got VMR, lovin' the sound, lovin' the rack system, but where in the heck is the low-pass filter, or is there any at all?
