So glad they have added these features. I was about to go the EZ drummer route, but really wanted to keep it in house.

Did not see anything about room/mic options yet, but that's not a big deal.

Sounds great!

As a Cubase User what is the cost to upgrade from the SE version that is integrated, or does one have to purchase the FULL product?

Does this come with the Groove Agent 3 sounds and presets? The big number of samples kinda hints at that but I think it should be made clear. There's no preset list anywhere on the site.

I'd like to know this as well. I've stuck with SD and it may be time for a change. Can anyone comment on how the two compare?

In Britain the update from Groove Agent 3, which can be got as an electronic download, is £82 which is more than $99

As for Groove Agent 4 full version, there is no download option, only box and that is not yet available here.

BlueCat Patchwork might be an option if it is VST or AU … 79.00 US funds .. i am looking at it to run some plugins that are not AAX yet … demo works really well, try it out … or VEP Pro 5 may run this as well but more like 350.00

Waiting for the full version price. I use GA One a lot, so if the price is right this would make sense for me.

Screen shots are cool, it looks like Steinberg has copied & combined other drum software idea's together....NI's Battery sampler meets Tootracks (and others) virtual drum kit meets JamSticks automatic drum creator?

I believe GA 4 SE is part of NEK. This is the "full version" and is $99 to upgrade to from the SE version I believe.

I don't think so. An upgrade from GA 4 SE doesn't appear to be available, while the upgrade from GA 3 clearly is.

The videos look extremely interesting but it looks, to me at least, more geared toward Rock/Pop production. I do Electronic, ambient, dance so I'm not all that interested in conventional kits and room mics etc. The Beat Agent and percussion sections looked interesting though.

At its price I think I'm going to hold back for a while. I've invested quite a lot in drum samples and Vengeance Metrum and I think I get reasonably good results with GA SE 4 with what I have, though there's always room for improvement.

Think I'll err on the side of prudence and wait for the demo.

GA4 Full is not a part the NEK option. There is no upgrade path from GA4 SE to to GA Full, only from GA3 and very soon GA1 and GA2 (http://www.steinberg.net/forums/view...p?f=65&t=62509), according to Steinberg.
