PTHD Accel Core Card vs Lynx AES16e

So I am current using:
Mac Pro 8 core 10.6.8
Lynx Aurora 16w/LT-HD card (LT-HD card currently not used)
Lynx AES16e
PT10HD software

My main question is this, what would be the pros and cons of buying a PTHD Accel core card used for $700-$800 to replace my AES16e. Im not a huge fan of the lynx mixer and am curious of the HD accel core card's DSP power, also i would then be able to use TDM plugins correct? Obviously the $700-$800 is a slight "con" but id be willing to take that hit if it was overall a decent upgrade.

Thanks

Pros: near zero latency of TDM plugins, frees your Mac Pro to process RTAS native plugins, as Accel card will handle audio streaming and TDM plugs.

Cons: TDM plugins are more expensive than native counterparts. PT11HD is not supported with Accel cards.

PT10HD is a solid DAW (I'm still using it, even though I have PT11HD, due to lack of AAX compatibility for some key plugins). Now is the time to buy an Accel card. $800 or so is very cheap for what you get. Also consider that to get a similar performance boost without the Accel, you would have to upgrade to a newer Mac Pro, which is going to run you $2000+. An Accel core card is the cheapest solution to boost the performance of your existing system.
