Pro Tools Structure Vs Logic exs24

I have a 2 part question..I'm a die hard Logic user, but for the past 3 week i have been making beats in Pro tools 11. Logic's built in sampler "exs24" was a vital part of my sample chopping process. Pro tools also has a built in sampler "Structure Free" which is a watered down version of avid's sampler "Structure".. My question is, Is Structure worth the $399 price tag that avid is asking? 2nd question.. Are any of you guys using Pro tools to make beats and what is your workflow ?

I'm interested in the full structure for PT11 as well. I'm using logic as well but I feel like the pt workflow is more suited to my needs. Sadly Structure free sucks. I'm thinking about Kontakt though. Mostly because of my sound fonts.

Have no experience with it but for that price I'd either use battery or kontakt.
How's the midi editing in pt 11 compared to logic?

Its the same.. Both are dope.. pro tools is just a different language. Once you get it down, you're good to go. The 1 thing that Logic has thats hard to beat is Bounce in Place

For beat making Structure is not the VI to go. There is the built in beat maker Boom with great electronic sounds and easy matrix style editing windows. Comes with usefull presets. If you want more you should check out Transfuser too.

Structure comes with great sound banks perfect sampled acoustic sounds that I cant live without however its not a beat maker.

Oh and there is the virtual drummer called Struke if you'ld wanna check out

As mentioned, you can get the whole AiR Inst.Exp, for $299.
Fully 64-bit AAX.
Totally worth it.

Here for the gear

Structure = Crash-o-matic waste of time.

Stay well clear.

Strike however, is awesome - good flexibility/sounds, and doesn't eat all your CPU.
