Slate Digital is giving us another treat soon! Any guesses?

Slate Digital just released this statement:

'Next week at AES NYC, Slate Digital will be showing a sneak peak of what I think is our most exciting plugin yet. Check it out at BOOTH 3239. - Steven'

Any ideas?

Exciting.

A Crosstalk plugin. Because sometimes fake tape noise isn't enough.

slate limiter. the installation stops most of your other plugs from working, dramatically limiting your choices, instantly freeing up your brain from some authentic, classic 70s creative vibes.

Could also be Slate Backfire (or Retrigger) - something to make your triggered drum samples sounding as recorded with a cheap mic in a untreated room on a poorly tuned kit.

I talked to Steven and he said it was the Sony DRE-2000 reverb plugin.

No I'm just kidding, I have no clue... and I have no idea. But if I would guess, probably a Channel Strip.

Virtual Hard Drive Platters.

A plugin that emulates the warmth of classic hard drive platters.
This is so you still get that sound if your running your DAW on a PCI-e SSD.
Beta testing starts in December. Intro price in 2016

I'm a big Slate fan by the way.

I would guess it'l be an EQ. Doesn't look lik ehe's touched that market yet. Probably b/c the words "compressor", "console", and "saturation" are much more sexy than "EQ" or "Equalization"

Fabrice, the head coder of Slate Digital plugins made a new Air EQ plugin for his own company Eiosis. I don't think Steve would make one to compete with it.
On the other hand maybe they will both sell the same one with just different logos that way Fabrice can still support his old customers and company and Slate Digital gets a nice EQ to complete the range.

Whatever it is, we'll only be teased for another 18 months. Super excited here!
