Macbook Pro now or Wait for Haswell Version

I'm was about to get a new Mac Book Pro ( non retina) but i see the Haswell version is coming out. Does anyone know if there is going to be a major difference to wait or is it just small upgrade? Thanks.

I'm waiting for Haswell!
I've read elsewhere CPU power not much of a bump but possibly much better battery time & running cooler so less fan noise!
Other things I'm wishing for - 1TB SSD & 32 GB RAM option... youch!

Lives for gear
haswell is a huge improvement for power management. I read a comparison where they tested battery life of a 2012 MBA with 3rd gen I core vs a 2013 MBA with haswell - the 2012 version lasted 7.8 hours, and the 2013 model lasted 14 hours. so, if you are using any type of mobile platform, absolutely wait for haswell. if you are buying a desktop, the improvement will be negligible, and you can save some money by using 3rd gen.

Thanks for the heads up! I was looking at the current line but I will definitely wait for the refresh. Even if you don't need the new upgrade you will always get a better resale value if you have the option to wait. The fan can get pretty loud on my old MacBook Pro.

I am not too concerned about battery life so I went with one now along with a new Mini 2.6 to replace my 2006 MP and MBP.
