Steinberg ur22 and Sure SM7b

I hope I have posted this in the correct forum.

I am using Cubase 7 64 on Windows 8. I am about to buy headphones, MIC and an interface.

After some research, I have narrowed down my selection to:

Headphones: AKG k701
MIC: Sure SM7b
Interface: Steinberg UR22

I would have liked to get the Roland UA-55 Quad-Capture USB Interface, but its gain rage only went up to +55, which I believe is too low to run the SM7B on effectively.

The Interface is only going to be used as a) Soundcard and b) to record vocals and no other instruments.

Any comments regarding the compatibility and use of these three items will be very well appreciated.

Hi Earthly,

Have you purchased a audio interface? Which one and how does it do powering the Shure SM7b?
Any complaints?
