Help with choosing an Interface

I've purchased my first MacBook and am looking at using software, have been using my Mpc1000 a MicroKORG. Not really sure what I need in a audio interface but Id like it to be portable & cant spend lots, Looking @ the Scarlett 2i4, Komplete Audio 6. Would these do what I need?
If I get one with MIDI in/out can I use my MicroKORG as a controller?

If you don't need four outputs, the Scarlett 2i2 has the same pres and converters as the 2i4, but since it's been out for a while, you can find it heavily discounted (as low as $110-120 on ebay.)
