What do you think? Could this be the end of buggy software?

I read that. Probably not the final solution to the problem, but definitely a step in the right direction.

I don't know much about computer science, but I'm assuming the classic method of bug detection and correcting is thousands of hours of human testing enabling correction to specific parts of code. The whole dance gets sillier as software becomes more complicated.

As bad as software seems nowadays, it has gotten a lot better. I haven't seen a BSOD in 4 years. My girlfriend's computer (which four people use to access the internet and other basic needs) never crashes and remains running in a manner identical to when it was purchased (without any maintenance or clean installs). I think it will get even better.
