Multiple fades... Is this a bug in Logic or user error?
I'm using Logic 7.1.1
If I highlight several regions that have differing fade ins there is a little star in the fade in field. If I click the star and move the mouse up I can change all of the highlighted regions at once. That's cool!
Unfortunately this doesn't happen with the fade out. I can change them all at once if they are all at the same value... but if they are at differing values the star is in the field and I cannot change it.
Is this a bug? Or is there some other way of changing several fade outs all at once?
Never mind, I figured it out. I just had to go over to the right another 1/4 inch. I actually stumbled across the answer while searching for an answer to my other thread on strip silencing several tracks at once. There was an SOS article on quantizing drums in Logic. I figured it would give me a clue about editing multiple tracks. It didn't. But it did give me the answer to this question! Anyway, I hope this thread helps someone else out in the future.
If you highlight more than one region that already have crossfades with different settings it won't let you set all their crossfades to a new value at the same time.
This is logic 7.2, you used to be able to do it in logic 5
