Looking forward to benchmark it with Logic Pro...
I would be interested to know how that benchmark went.

Lightbulb

I've only got 512MB RAM at the moment, but it's WAY faster than my PowerBook 1,67GHz. I just tried to open a couple of projects that needed freezing, and after unchecking the freeze-buttons, it used half of processor 1 (1/4 of the available cpu)... stike THIS THING IS FAST! I tried a couple of Rosetta apps, and that was slow... Real slow. As long as you use Universal Binaries, it's awesome!

I have used a Macbook Pro and the engineer that works here bought a Macbook.
It pretty peppy.
but video rendering for a dvd S L O W
a dual G5 kicks it's ass.

I love the glossy screen on the Macbook very sharp.

Hi,
Adamjay is benchmarking his Macbook pro dual 2 at:

https://www.gearslutz.com/board/music-computers/72653-intel-mac-pt-le-amp-mp-released.html

Anyone tried the new macbook with Protools for intel?
It would be interesting to compare both machines...

Cheers,
