Digital and Headphone out of shuttle barebones

I am evaluating those shuttle barebones for my new desktop DAW. Since I will use it primarily for mixing (recording location via harddisk), I wonder, what the quality of a soundblaster live (onboard) headphone out are, and whether the SPDIF of such a onboard soundcard deserves the attribute stable working.

I do also own a motu traveler, but if it is not necessary to use it, I will keep t in my HD recorder rack for montoring purposes, since I do not have any other use for it right now.

Can anyone make any contribution?
