Anybody using the Voxengo Voxformer?

What do you think of it?
There isn't much to read about it as far as user reviews.
The little that I've seen has been mixed opinions (great/hate), but a lot of that was older and they have since released version 2 which is supposed to have been a significant improvement.
Thanks.

I just posted in another thread on how much I like this plug in . It is actually very good , double comps that can be band split , and eq , gate , de-esser, saturation which is very good and handy for adding bite . And the pre sets in it are really usable with a few tweakings to taste . I just slap on a UAD LA 2 A on the end and the vocals are done !

Thanks. Are the Q's on the eq's adjustable to make deep cuts?

The Q is precisely adjustable for each freq, yes. Very nice. Range is from .01 - 7.00

I bought this along with Elephant a few weeks ago and have had time to check out most of the features on vocal tracks I'd recently recorded. IMO the features are pretty extensive and the plug can be as transparent as you'd like, or as colorful as you'd like. The presets are outstanding starting points and widely diverse.

I'm also digging the feature that lets you go to 2 bands on the comp allowing you to control the X-over freq. A d-esser is always handy and I can't wait to use that feature on AC Guitar to be honest.

Overall, I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be.

Nice, thanks. In Voxengo's description, he says that it works well with acoustic guitar also.

It's apparent that it's a dynamics/eq plug (no fx), but I wish it at least had a doubler.
If it's as good as Elephant, then it's a go-to.

I've had this thing since it was originally released, and frankly - I love it.
v2 added surround support (invaluable for me) and other stuff too.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Voxformer is the one that's always tried first, b ecause of the many faces it can take, and stays on 90% of the time
