D/A for a Notebook, no preamps,no nothing

Any ideas of a D/A (USB maybe?) of a great quality for replacing the crappy soundblaster output?

Just the D/A preferably, no preamps. Output balanced or unbalanced, with balanced being the preferred one.

Up to 700$

Thanks

There is one that is only sold on ebay... I know a couple of guys who hang out in Lyn Fuston's 3dbaudioinc forum who have bought it (it is under $300) as a second DAC and they have been very impressed. USB. I don't know the name, as it is not a product that I was interested in.

Gotta tell you this one sounds quite good... Just tried it in the office though. Vast improvement over the laptop line out.

Nkaaay, that also looks like a contender, and it doesn't cost a fortune
