Computer Falls Asleep = Loud Crack/Snap - Apogee Ensemble

Has anyone else experience this with your Apogee Ensemble? I'm using a MacBook Pro and when it starts to fall asleep the Ensemble will freak and make a loud crack/snap/white noise sound.

Thoughts? Solutions?

This is probably the sound of the Apogee switching from external sync to internal. The same noise will be heard if you unplug the firewire cable from the computer while it is on.

Solution: Don't let the mac go to sleep or turn off your speakers before it goes to sleep.

Agreed, it's definitely something that is powering down when it enters sleep mode that the Apogee needs
