Running multiple instances of Reactor 5 independently in a DAW?

I'm using Logic but I'm sure the same problems applies to other daws as well. Basically I'm running different instances of Reactor so I can polyphonically play sets that are usually monophonic, but when I play on the second instance it takes over the notes from the first track, basically staying monophonic but sliding through the notes with portamento.
How can I run both instances independently without one sound interfering with the other, especially when it's a monophonic one?

Are you trying to play in real time, or having these problems after editing the midi data? If you're talking about playing in real time I'm curious how you're separating the notes between the tracks.. It sounds like each instance of Reaktor is playing every note.

Basically I have one melody line on track one and the same an octave higher on the 2nd track but when I play it, it usually slides up to the higher notes instate of playing both simultaneously.

Let us know what the signal flow is, possibly along with a screenshot of the arrange/mixer and environment if you're doing any cabling there.
