Sounds incredible, but sometimes adds too much top end, so it doesn't work always. Generally just some good preamp will do, 'cause multiband can make stuff sound kinda lifeless.

And Animus, yeah, but I was trying not to reveal my fav presets..

so glad that i found nebula and the great 3rd party stuff!

does anyone know what the proper gain staging for the AITB EQs is? Doc Fear and Mammoth? I'm hitting it pretty hard and it's never really clipping... must be more than -18dbfs=0 isn't it? thanks for helping out... couldn't find something on the manual nor in the forum...
cheers, mika

Keep Mammoth hovering around -18dB peaks, peaks govern your signal not rms. If you push it too hard it starts to get a bit strident, just as if you were running the circuitry too hot. Awesome EQ

What, my favorite topic is dead? :D

Anyway, I'm sorry but I'm removing the Chandler + other stuff since I found out that they're actually commercial releases (although I was told that they're freebies). PLEASE don't distribute them anymore. They're HQ 11 kernel libraries so I think that the dude deserves the money.

What else..

Apparently the Bricasti M7 has delayed BADLY, since Henry (the guy who's sampling it) is not satisfied with the results and had to start the process from a scratch, but FAIK his still working on it.

ELC eq by TimP is pretty amazing. Just turning it makes a difference that i always seem too like. It's a really smooth passive eq

Will look into that, although I'm pretty well set up.. I've heard good things about the new CDSoundmaster custom tube EQ and the BXQ that's are apparently pretty amazing.

I think it's been mentioned several times, but I just got into using the EMT140 plate (had it for a long time). That thing is just pure magic on drums and vocals.

Yes let's hear more about BXQ, no demo on that program unfortunately.
And Yes EMT140 is outstanding...

Would that be a Baxednall filter (BXQ)? The most popular and beautiful sounding filter - smooth as a babies bottom. What libraries are there in the way of this filter or is there about to be a new release coming? Slightly OT but I think every release should have some demo presets. I wont buy anything else without trying it out in context

I never saw the Chandler as a commercial release, I thought it was a freebie too. Who's selling it?

Seems like the Chandler and BAE pres are OwnHammer releases ->

OwnHammer.com - Store

I'll put the API 550 back into share, it's a freebie.

Seems like Analoginthebox is now selling the E.A.R. reverb preset "folders" separately for just 15€.. I may have to purchase the "spaces" presets and see what the fuzz is all about.. could this be IT?

I certainly hope so.

Logic Pro X released... Smart Controls feature added.

I have no idea... But it seems like this could be the solution to our Nebula user interface nightmares.
