Sample Libraries and Audio Samples

Hi,

Is it a good idea to have my Sample Libraries from my VST's (eg Toontrack Superior Drummer and Kontakt 4) on the same external drive as my audio samples (eg drum hits, synth lines, loops)..

My setup is on a laptop:

320Gb internal Hdd
-1 small partition for OS and programs
-2nd partition for patches, presets (eg massive), project folders

740GB extenal Hdd
-1 folder (with subfolders) containingall my sample libraries from my Vst's
-2nd folder (with subfolders) containing my audio samples (eg drum hits, loops etc)

Thanks for your time
Regards
:Luca
