MC Mix Maestro Issues

Just bought an mc mix. Installed software, set up with Pro Tools just fine. However, I am unable to control the first input fader for BOTH mixer A and mixer B in Apogee's Maestro software. Every other channel and function works fine. Anyone else experience this?

i should add, if i move the fader in maestro with the mouse, it also moves it on my mc mix. however, if i move the fader on my mc mix, nothing happens in the software.
