2nd ff800 or dedicated 24 i/0 ?

Hi troops,

I was wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction.
i have a fireface 800 feeding my analogue desk and am thinking about being able to feed more channels to the desk for my otb/hybrid recordings.

I was thinking about plugging an alesis hd 24 into one of the Adats on my unit, or buying a second ff800 to have 20 outs.
but before I do either, does anyone make a dedicated 24 i/o without adat or pre's or h/phone outs?

Or if not, is there anything else out there that would act as a converter from the adats out on my ff to audio without being a recorder, like the Rme m16/32, but not £3,000

Any pointers greatly appreciated
cheers
Baz

Yeah there us the Behringer ADA8000 or you might find a second hand Alesis AI3.

I use both with an FF800 and they are superb for the money.

I got an RME ADI-8, Nuendo branded, sounds great and gives me 8 more analog ins and outs.
