Is DDR3 2000 at Cl9 equal to DDR3 1600 Cl7 ??

Is DDR3 2000 at Cl9 equal to DDR3 1600 Cl7 ?? For audio? this is for a 3X4 gb ram kit.

I will probably be oveclocking - so I am not sure which to go with.

You have to take the one with the higher bus so the 2000s.

CL only is the value of the latency at that specific bus speed.

I wouldn't bother 1600 c7 corsair dominators are plenty for audio and minor over clocking. Anything above is for overclockng enthusiasts.
