Heat for pro tools

Can you run heat on an older 96 or 192 io? Or do you need the latest new digi interfaces

The interface is not the issue - it runs on the PT software not the interface.

So yes it'll be fine if you use a 96 or 192io.

However, you need PT 8.1 software, which is intel/snow leopard only.
