Question Faint staticky sound when HDD Reads!

I can hear very low level static in my left speaker only. I good example is when the hard disc drive (add) is being accessed. The sound is synced with the HDD activity led on the pc front panel. Also happens when I use my mouse.
Any suggestions are appreciated. this is making me nuts.

Best,
Chris

Sounds like it could be a fragmented hard-drive. When is the last time that you ran the disk-defrag?

SOLID STATE DRIVE, NOT HDD. Sorry people.

Guys it's a Solid State Hard Drive. Not a HDD. My bad.
Regardless if a drive needs to be defraged I should not be hearing low level static representations when the ssd is being accessed.

Ahhhhh personally I don't recommend SSD drives....YET! There have been too many problems, like this, reported for me to believe they are "ready".
