converted apple loops not conforming to tempo

I just spent quite a bit of time creating apple loops with the apple loop utility. they show up as aifc files, but when I import them into the loop browser in logic they don't have any tempo information/ don't align to the grid.

any ideas?

I guess the apple loop utility is buggy as hell. It turns out that reimporting the files into the utility and resaving somehow makes the info stick.

Why don't you create the Apple loop inside Logic? It will be automatically indexed that way.

Well...the main reason is that logic only lets you convert one loop at a time. I converted a few thousand loops yesterday with the loop utility. I would estimate that using logics built in conversion would have taken around 750 hours.

Drag a loop into logic, make sure it's at tempo and then convert(which is very slow within logic)

I'm not sure why Apple doesn't prioritize repairing their own loop making tools. Strange.

I had the same problem, but Loop Editor+ did it very good
