Does anyone know if I can program the rotary knobs, to.....
trim left and trim right, so I can you know, trim the right side of the clip, and the left side,

do it all with rotary faders, is this possible?, I know with the expensive euphonix controller they use that big rotary thing to do that...

and if so, can I also program one of the other rotary's to to fade in's, fade outs'??

yeah there are commands for trimming right and left clips...

but they trim to a snap grid, with the euphonix controllers, you can use the jog wheel to trim clips, but it's perfectly smooth,

hopefully someone will see this posting and will have tried tihs before,

I tell you though, this would literally save me hours each day, a typical trim is about 4 or 5 seconds, with a euphonix i can do them in about 2 seconds...

after thousands of edits per day, i'd be pocketing a good chunk of cash per week extra.

you can program some buttons to switch between different generic remote setups!.
the way I use it is to just program it to control certain plugins in the exact insert slot:
lets say compressor X in the 1st slot ---->>>top row of the bcr
eq Y---->>>> the the rest of the bcr

That way I have a "channel strip" controller and dont have to open the plugin GUI to adjust the sound....
But then I also use MC5pro.....
