Hello Relab Beta Team,

Here is an update in regards to the long awaited LX480 plugin.

Initially, Relab will be releasing the LX480 as "LX480 Lite".

LX480 Lite includes the same Random Hall, and Random Hall HD Algorithms that the beta you have been using has, and is $199.

This product is available for purchase RIGHT NOW via the following link:

Relab LX480 LITE: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...=KVF8WWX79ZZ56

The ilok authorizations for LX480 Lite will be delivered sometime in the next week (prior to the beta expiration), along with the most up to date version of the plugin to download, etc.

The FULL version with all of the additional algorithms/ presets, etc will be released upon the next ilok update. The Audio Units and VST versions are in fact done in their entirety.. All programming and algorithms have been completed. We are now just waiting for ilok to release their new update, etc.

The FULL version of LX480 will be $499.

People who purchase the "LX480 Lite" will be able to upgrade for the difference in price ($300).

Well, there's your price(s), right there! (FINALLY!!!)

Will the Lite version be available as RTAS?

Will the Lite version continue to be available up to the full release?

Will the Lite version continue to be available after the full release?

I was hoping the full version would be less, but actually guessed the price... maybe a little high for me, but I might be inclined to go Lite and stay there, or update to full in the moderate to distant future.

Both products will receive the RTAS treatment - we're still working on it. The current release does not include native RTAS.

Got the email too, good news, and good price for the full version.

Now we can stop bugging Tony & Martin and start harping on iLok to hurry up and get those drivers out!

I want those plates

Yeah!! I hope new ilok will be at least another 3.years "secure". IMO they should update protection periodically and developers should follow their updates. A bit complicated i know but it could make life a bit harder for "kiddoz".

So after all conspiracy theory i think that LX480-Full price is more then fair for what it does. Even "Lite" is kind enough.

Nice

A couple of weeks ago the Aussie Dollar dropped by more than 10 cents.. this makes the current price a little out of my reach right now. Due to health reasons I've had to stop my live work in particular right now... damn!

I'm in, bought it already.

One tiny things bothers me a little: When the plugin comes up, it always shows N/A as preset name, so, I never know exactley, which preset is dialed in. Could you be so kind and change this ?

And I would very much like to see a few more presets, please

Very nice reverb, it's the perfect partner for my 2 Bricastis

Thanks a lot Martin and Tony!

This reverb has been on my dream list since 1986. The only thing I could afford back then was a Yamaha REV-7, SPX 90 and a Roland DEP-7. After a long time I finally got a double tc M5000. I liked that box a lot and it was a big change for me.
But – I was struggling to get the right tails with long verbs. The Lexicon tail – where the decay sort of “vanish in the haze”.

I got that with the Lexicon PCM Native – which I am really, really pleased with.

Since then I got the LX480 Beta early in May – and a renewed Beta – and… I have really got to love this baby, it has all the sound I was missing back in the eighties.

I am very happy with the price, which I thought was gonna be the double – and still I think that would be a nice price. thumbsup
That we can buy the Lite version now is topping the cake.

Count me in…

Sincerely

It has more "algorithms" than redline reverb for instance. And sounds way better.

This is what I guessed the price would be. Awesomeness.

Compare the "lite" version to other reverbs on the market.. it's not "just one algo".. it's one AMAZING algo for just $199,=

This is a "no brainer" in my book!

I have to say, I think the price is spot on. It's affordable yet reflects the effort that's going into the plugin. The $200 model is a nice gateway/stepping stone to the full version. Well played!

Waiting for PC/RTAS with eager anticipation! Kudos!!!

Would be nice IMO to have lite versions of each algorithm separately priced at 100$. Maybe I only want the hall...

Haha, sounds like a nice try :-) but probably not.

The appropriate business model would be more like
Random Hall standard algorithm: 189 USD
Random Hall both algorithms: 199 USD
Random Hall HD upgrade from standard to HD: 25 USD

Do you want that?
