totally agree.

PCM96 sounds like a nice room
LX480 sounds like a nice room with some cool fog in it

I can't get the LX480 to work in Logic 8.
I'm on a Macbook Pro with 10.4.11 atm.

I'll try it again on a MacPro with SnowLeopard when i'm back in the studio.

It seems Tiger does not like the LX.
I get crashes from Reaper and DP wouldn't load it properly + Ableton Live doesn't seem to display them.

They (AU and VST versions) work well under Leopard 10.5.11, though.

I just reported to Relab.

Correct, noize_organizer.

The plugin needs OSX 10.5+ and Intel only.

I apologize for the missing information.

Argh! iLok website is letting me down! It recognises the Relab license when I input the code and lists the details on the next page. But when I click 'get licenses' to download to my iLok it takes me to the next page and says

Redeem License Codes

Licenses available for download in your account

Nothing to display

Tried it 5x and logged out and in again....

Anybody else had this strange issue?

Same here 2 hours ago.
But then worked fine.

Tony said iLok is doing maintenance or something (choosing the right moment ;-)

It's a really bad news

Do you plan to support Mac PPC ?

As a Protools Hd user, i feel bad because there is more and more manufacturers (included Digi -Avid that didn't support Mac PPC anymore) and forget that if we have bought a TDM system it's not for replacing the computer every 2 years... With my old G5 PPC and a HD3 i still can load big sessions with no problems, so i don't need to upgrade to a new computer...

Let me know.

I wish you the best for this new baby.

Very, very good job!

Jazz Hall 0.7 sec on an SD is an old favorite of mine both on Lex hardware and PCM software.
Put the LX480 in analog i/o and no D version; instant fat and oomphy SD just like the good old days.

If the rest of the algos are of the same quality then it will be interesting to follow the pricing of the 480 hardware...

Im sorry, but I don't have any plans for supporting PPC right now. The reason is that I use specific SSE (Intel SIMD) instructions for some of the functions.

Sorry.

Martin,

any way you could level out the volume difference between analog and digital i/o? Would be easier to compare presets etc. but analog always sounds louder.

LX480 with drums

Hi all,

A few drums soundbites, all using LX480 (only) in Digital + non-HD mode.
The width control is a killer feature, you can make the LX be out of phase if you want.

Enjoy !

Here for the gear

Hi,
thanks Tony for the demo, just had a quick first try, it sounds very nice, but the virtual displays are very hard to read - that really too much photorealism, all this glare on the displays - so please.....make it better readable!
best regards

Hopefully.

Right now we're preparing a special VST version that works with the VST->RTAS wrapper.

We're aware of this particular bug - have been fixed in the next update. Will probably be released today.
