Ditch the mixer?

I am using a load of analogue sound modules, I write the midi parts and record them into Logic on a Mac.
I then mix them inside Logic. I am using a Mackie 24/8 mixer and 2 Dynaudio BM6a powered monitors.

Can I get a better sound if i take the mixer out of it.
If so, you someone please advise me on what route to take.

Someone mentioned a sum mixer, but I'm not very techy and didn't get it.

Thankyou in advance.
