big news

http://www.fxteleport.com

these guys have just released a program (pc VST only ATM) that allows you to run VST plugs over a network. The latency and plugs are synced to the host daw and there is no need for extra soundcards and clocking.
For those of you running host based daws....THIS IS BIG NEWS. think about it. You can use another computer as you would a powercore card, it would be cheaper, a helluva lot more flexible and wouldn't crash your system (if the server computer goes down it doesn't take the host with it).
You can run 4 computers as plug servers too. In theory you could have 5 p4 3Ghz chips in one system!

now if only they made it compatible with protools LE.........

As a Sequoia (Samplitude) user, this could be cool for expansion... It has automatic latency correction so the latency of processing shouldn't even be a problem.
