Cool Pops & clicks: Amplitube 2 in Logic 8

I'm sure this will be really obvious for someone else using this set up...

I use Amplitube 2 and the Ampex bass amp sims in Logic 8. Just before an audio region using one of these plugins begins, I get a pop/click.

These are legit plugins and I think I'm on the latest versions. Any setting in Logic I need to tweak to make this go away??

It's running on a Mac Pro if that's of interest.

Thanks guys.

Yes - same problem here,

I just automate the volume off when they're not playing
or I bounce and cut out the clicks.

I don't know any proper fix for this, so yes, it's a pain in the ass.

In the past various plug-in manufacturers have attributed this to way Logic handles plug-ins. Apparently Logic doesn't "switch on" the plug 'til just before it's needed.

Tritone for example implemented a soft start to solve the problem.

Like the previous poster I automate a mute a sixteenth before the audio region.
