DP5 and MTP AV - how to generate SMPTE?

I'm trying to get my Euphonix CS2000 automation working. I want to send it SMPTE from DP 5.12 via my MOTU Midi Timepiece AV. I might be really dumb but I don't seem to be able to get DP to make the MTP generate SMPTE. Can anyone help please?

Thanks,

Tim

In DP, go to your Studio/Midi Machine Control and enable it. Make sure the MTP is selected. DP should automatically go into external sync mode on the transport.

Under Setup/Receive Sync, make sure you have Time Sync =MTC and
the Sync to port = MTPAV Sync Port.

Im doing this in Audiodesk 3 here and it works just fine . My MTPAV is Taching the SMPTE out as everything is rolling along

Basically your sending MMC to start the SMPTE console on the MTPAV and the MTPAV is then sending out MTC via the sync port back to DP for DP to sync to and striping SMPTE as the same time

Now I have Audiodesk on this Mac thanks to you HAHA

Hope this helps.
