Wavebummer - is there a better OSX CD burner?

So I got back from a wee mixdown session today with a Apple Logic Waveburner burnt CD of the mix... lookin forward to hearing it at home ect... and its fuggin BLANK. The program has burnt tracks the right LENGTH, but with NO AUDIO!!

Now I know I'm new to Macs and all, but for goodness sake! I thought this was supposed to be SUPERIOR to PC (sorry, not wanting to start a mac / pc thing, they are both fine, and linux too ect). BUT man I have NEVER had a bug like that before on ANYTHING!

Is it that hard in 2005 to make a program that can burn a damn CD?

It wasn't the first time it had done this, I should have known.

SACKED!

Can anyone point me to a good free (is there such a thing on a Mac?) or reasonably priced CD burner?

and I was like, GODDAMNIT!
It ****ed up my CD, it was a really good CD
and then i couldn't listen to my mix
so it wasnt as easy to finish the next day
It's kind of a...

Are you using version the verssion that can with LOGIC 7.1 Pro? There were a lots of issues with the old one which are now fixed. AFIK the current version is 1.1 (064).

Roxio Toast is a reliable program, I've never had a problem with a disc burned with Toast or Jam. In my opinion it is reasonably priced for all that it does.

If you need to edit crossfades and IRSC codes and use any mastering PI, quite 2 track edits and fades plus bring in split stereo files - Waverburner is the king in OSX

Just did that on me right now... trying to burn one audio file to CD! This is the latest version, 1.1 (064)... man, it's like running Windoze 95 all over again! Pathetic!

Thanks for the feedback RE: other programs, I guess i'll have to check them out.

A million curses on Wavebummer's head. This is the most unstable and unusable program I have ever used, period! On ANY platform! Semi pro? Fuggin semi amateur more like...

I feel your pain. It must be very frustrating. I do have to say that I use Waveburner 1.1 daily burning many cds and have not had any problems (10.39 on a dual 2.0 G5). There must be something screwed with your system, or communication with your cd burner.

I've got the latest version of Waveburner from LP 7 and have had some issues with some of the tracks not playing in some home systems and boomboxes...

OTOH, burning from Itunes or Toast has never given me these problems....

I have Toast 6 Titanium and it seems to be very good. Well, at least it doesn't seem to be bad.
