Do you use delay on Bkgd Vocals?

Just curious out there...

Got a song with a strong lead vocal using psp84 delay - the bkgd vocals are upper and lower harmonies to the lead.

Have you tried it? Did you like it?

No rules here, but for me delay tends to draw attention to something (reverb tends to be a front/back control in some ways).

That's why short (or long) delays are a trend these days on prominent vocals or instruments. I sometimes keep a tempo synched dual delay (UAD or other) on a bus, and dial it in a track until that track catches my attention.
