D-Sub Audio connectors compatible with Apogee and Digi192

Does anybody know if the D-Sub audio connectors on the Apogee AD-16-X / DA-16-X are compatible with Digidesigns 192 interfaces?

I mean could I use the same wires going to the mixing desk for both?

cheers

Yeah, its just a normal D-sub, so you'll need an adapter like Apogee's AD8-IFC or DA8-IFC that will enable you to go 8 analogue in to the Apogee or out to the mixer.

Thanks.

I have already wires in place for the Apogee's. I was just thinking if they would also work with the Digi 192's.

BTW does anyone know if the thread on the Apogee D-Subs it metric or imperial?

cheers

Your should be able to use the same cables with the 192 as it has normal D-Sub connectors. Were you thinking of going D-Sub on the 192 to the D-Sub on the Apogee?

Don't know about the metric or imperial thing...Apogee tech support?

No.

I was thinking of someone swapping my Apogee converters for the Digi192's but still being able to use the same wires to the desk.

I know it has the same D-Sub connectors of course, but the question is: Is the wiring the same?
