I agree with Entheon. The options may be a bit much on the poll.

wouldn't it nice if what ever one you got it would simply work with out any head aches.
and any application you got simply worked, on any system.

I am a long time Mac user, and I think that Macs with Intel chips will be great, I think that Intel and apple are going to surprise a lot of people, I enjoy my mac's, everyone that I've had has been enjoyable, the G5 Running Tiger especially so, you can call me what you like, But the fact is I am happy and enjoy what i do, If i wasn't happy then I would buy something else, It's the same with Logic, I have SX3, I used Cubase from the begining, but then when SX came out I just lost patience and started to use Logic, And now I am a power user I guess, and I absolutly Love Logic, It make's me happy, so there you go, Being happy is a big reason for me.

Yes, well, it's a computer!

heh

I'm surprised that a lot of people are waiting for the very first generation of Apptel machines. I guess someone has to be first.

Regarding Logic, now that I've heard the Linear Phase eq is supposed to sound really good, I'm considering upgrading my 6.2 Platinum to 7 for $299. That eq plus the ability to import timestamped Broadcast WAV files (.wav/bwav) alone is worth it.

But I'm not going to be totally at the mercy of Logic, as I have a Fairlight already, and the PC as well. Options are good.

believe me - ive ranted at a few computer manufacturers in my time - and been both a end user and worked for computer manufacturers of hardware in the past
in the big iron era. so - ive seen both sides.
so - ive seen the problems from both angles.
in the end - its people that make this stuff. and if you want change -
enough people must talk to other people who work in computer hardware and software design. one problem i perceieve is not enough cross pollination of ideas have occurred in the past. In summary i think more users need to communicate their needs to the PEOPLE who design computer architecture.
