Why, Oh why...

Why did URS have to make some plug-ins that sound so friggin' good.
Now, when my demo runs out in 7 days I'll be standing on the corner so I can
by them.

Bastards....

Don't forget about the rent-to-own deal... doesn't cost any more in the end, just costs less up front!

The cool thing is, UAD-1's for compressors, and theURS for EQ's.
However the Pultec-Pro does rock.
As does the Plate.
And the just released Roland CE-1 chorus is absolutely wicked.

Is the chorus supposed to replicate the Dimension D?

I have yet to hear any plug truly replicate that sound!

No. It's a replica of the BOSS CE-1 chorus ensemble.

The dimension D is the next one though.
The CE-1 is very cool, and the best ITB chorus I've used so far.

No. But I think it's because of limitations of the VST 2.0 spec.
I thinkt he next Versio of VST will allow it.

Really? I love Johnny Marr!

I read in Guitar Player magazine that he used 4 Fender amps on "How Soon is Now". He positioned them facing each other and used omni directional mic in the middle. He then manually synced the tremolo, he got a about 15 seconds of usable playing before the amps drifted. He repeated the process for the entire6+ minutes of the song.

The intention was to create a intro similar to the old Motown songs that instantly grabbed you and was completely different then anything else. Whether you like the song or not, I am sure you must agree Johnny succeeded.
