Anyone Using Dell Monitors with a G5?

Hey everybody.

One of my computer monitor just stopped working. I had a pair of factory refurbed 21" Viewsonics. They lasted me about 3+ years. I'm looking to switch over to a flat panel, but the Apple's are a bit too expensive.

Does anyone have any experience with Dell 24" monitors, specifically on G5's or Mac's in general? They're going for about $800 on eBay.

Does anyone have any lines on cheap Apple displays? I saw some 23"'s on ebay for like $900 but there are no current auctions.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

I know some techs who work for a school district using apples and dell 17" LCD's
They love them. FWIW I have a Samsung 213 21" LCD that looks gorgeous.

I have a ViewSonic 18" LCD from last year and just got a Dell 19" and find the Dell to be brighter and a bit sharper.
