Help analog guy out w/ super butt-simple software for OSX?

If you've seen my masterlink post in the other forum, you'll know I'm having problems with it.
So, since this is my second masterlink to go Apo on me I'm really thinking of picking up a real easy software program to dump analog mixes into for the purpose of burning cd's

I mean, really it's that easy. That's what I want to do right now.

BUT,

I do have an Apogee Rosetta, so I would like something that can deal w/ 24 bits/96kHz if I later decide that I want to delve into software stuff a little bit more,
maybe even dump some tracks in, cut and past (I'm talking really really simple)
and then back out again,
so I thought I'd ask if there's something you guys could reccomend for OSX for someone who has in the past gotten angry enough to sh*t a monkey at software based music programs.

Also, MIDI is absolutely not necessary. I would prefer it if the program didn't have it.

Reccomendations? I'm an egghead.

P.S.

And how about a USB or firewire interface?

WaveLab is PC only.

I'd highly recommend DSP Quattro. It's what you're looking for. It is not the most intuitive, but comes with good documentation, it will get you up and running quickly. Can deal with any format and bit/sample combo. And it's cheap (don't remember exactly, but under $200 I believe).
