Amplitube 2 update confusion

I bought Amplitube 2, and i love it.

So i went to download the latest update, and it seems like
its an EXE installer.
Thus far, in my limited expierience, i have always delt with "Updaters"
wich update the program being used.
With this installer i downloaded, it looks like i have to "Re" install Amplitube 2.
Is this correct? Do i have to go through the whole authorization process
AGAIN, just to update it??

Not the end of the world, but it just seems strange to me.
Thanks for any info!!

Go to amplitube.com and go to the user area page...from there, you log in and should have the option to download the W or M version...you want to the M...

Yes, i did that. Im on Windows XP Pro. So i got the W version...
My question was what to do
with the EXE installer. Its not an "Updater", its an installer.
I already installed the program from disc.
Do i install the program all over again? Do i uninstall the current version
first? Do i install it over top of itself?

Here for the gear

Possibly you just run the update .EXE you downloaded and it'll automatically update the software. I've seen that on other applications (e.g. Opera). It's not a re-install, just an install of an update.

Hope that makes sense.
