01v96 as control surface for Cubase 4

Has anyone got it working? my 01v96ver2 is working with studio manager (via usb), drivers are up to date but I'm a little stuck with getting it to work with cubase 4 as a control surface. Can't find anything in the cubase manual. Little help please?

Thanks

Go to Devices/Device Setup/ Hit the + key to add a device and select O1V96V2/ Select your MIDI In and MIDI out ports/ click Apply and the OK,
Put your O1V into control surface mode and it should snap to. Hope this helps ya.

I've done all that... i've configured the 01v to be in Cubase SX mode (uis that still ok for cubase 4?) and the 01v still says it's offline awaiting midi input.

it's under the user defined keys, you can look it up on the 01v96 -> Utility-> USER DEF
