Pluggo looks like it has a lot of different things going for it. How is it's sound quality? Is it cheap sounding? Does it have a lot of crazy processing effects? I have Logic 7 and like using samples. I'm looking for ways of processing samples. I was also looking at CellSynth and Soundhack for processing. They seem like good manglers also.

And out of curiosity, what is it's connection with Max/MSP? Seems like it can do some of what Max can.

Any other suggestions for manglers? I'm looking for some Exotic FX. Any help?

pluggo are basically plgin versions of msp patches.....with max/msp you can build your own pluggo plugins......you can try a demo of both.....

Does Max/msp run on Mac? How much does that cost?

Max?MSP is a serious investment of both time and money- unless you are interested in programming modules I would give it a miss.

I have both Max MSP and pluggo- pluggo is a great plugin to do some mangling.
It does things no other plugin does.

You could also look at GRM tools and the plugins from Soundtoys.
